If you'd like to tie Foam Poppers, You'll want some of these hooks.

This hook style is designed to keep popper bodies from spinning around on the hook shank.

Just poke a hole through your foam popper body with your bodkin, and insert this hook eye first, from the back of the foam body. (You will have a tough time starting from the front with the hook point.)

For best results, wrap some thread around the shank and whip finish it, then put a drop or two of super glue on the shank. Then insert the hook into the body.

You can also cut a slit in the belly of the foam from the nose to the tail in the center. Then lay the hook in the slit and glue it in.
