Mustad 3366 All-Purpose Hooks
This is a great hook that's well known among fly tyers, especially those who tie a lot of warm water flies. And they're very ecomonical.
Nymphs, Bass Bugs, Bluegill Flies, Clouser Minnows, Crayfish, and Baitfish. These hooks are used for all kinds of flies. We use them for tying Bou-Dads and BP Crayfish as well as Poppers and Dahlberg Divers. Smaller sizes are useful for nymphs, but probably not for dry flies.
Sizes 6, 8, 10 and smaller can be used for Panfish. Size 6, 4, 2 and larger can be used for Bass and other predator species. (Size 6 is what Jack Ellis calls the 'fence rider' size, because it is small enough for Sunfish yet big enough for Bass.) Contact us if you would like to see larger or smaller sizes listed.
